What is the format of ALTM?
ALTM runs over 4 days. The Conference & Welcome Drinks Reception takes place on the afternoon of Monday 14 June 2010.

From Tuesday - Thursday the ALTM Business and Social networking programme of Pre-Scheduled Appointments, Online Diary meetings and official ALTM receptions take place

How does the ALTM appointment system work?
ALTM matches the VIP Buyers and luxury travel suppliers who have expressed an interest in meeting with one another. ALTM VIP Buyers will be given private access to the online profiles of the exhibitors; and all exhibitors will be given private access to the online profiles of ALTM's VIP Buyers.

You'll then all be invited to select a wish list of the 60 you'd most like to meet with. From this wish list of 60, a diary of Pre-Scheduled Appointments will be arranged for you by ALTM.

This means ALTM will match your preferences with the Exhibitors' preferences via a computerised system. You will then receive a link to your Pre-Scheduled Appointment diary, detailing up to 60 appointments.

You can then supplement these meetings with up to 9 Online Diary appointments which rely on exhibitors and VIP Buyers contacting one another and accepting meeting requests. Any Online Diary meeting requests you submit must be approved by the exhibitor you have approached before it is confirmed. 

When is the deadline for choosing my appointment preferences (the wish list of 60)?
The deadline for selecting the luxury travel suppliers you wish to make appointments with will be late May 2010.

When will I receive my Appointments Schedule once at ALTM?
You will be able to pick up your Appointment Diary at the hotel once you have checked in. 

When will I receive my flight details?
Flight information of any flights booked for you by ALTM will be available on the VIP Buyer Personalised Zone.

When will I receive my flight tickets?
Tickets will be issued in May 2010.

How can I obtain a VISA?
ALTM does not issue visa letters. Visa information will be available online in April 2010.

What class is my flight and can I upgrade?
Any flights booked for you by ALTM will be an Economy flight. ALTM cannot provide an upgrade. However, once you have received your ticket from us, you may contact the airline directly and ask for an upgrade at your own expense.

Can I change the date / time of my ALTM flight?
ALTM cannot change the date or time of any flights provided by us. However you can take our outbound flight and arrange your own inbound flight at your own expense if you wish to.

Can I return to a different destination port?
You are not able to return to a different destination port if ALTM arranges your flight.

How many nights of accommodation can ALTM provide?
ALTM can provide 4 nights of complimentary accommodation from the evening of the 14 June to the morning of the 18 June.

What happens if I need extra accommodation outside of these nights?
You will need to arrange your extra nights accommodation in Shanghai at your own expense.

Can a colleague share my accommodation?
You may share your accommodation with a colleague who is also attending ALTM. Your accommodation will be in the form of a twin room and will be at no extra charge to you. Please let us know as soon as possible if you wish for a colleague to share your room.

Can my partner / friend share my accommodation?
Anyone who is not attending ALTM as a VIP Buyer can share your accommodation but there will be an extra cost for this. Please advise ALTM as soon as possible if you wish for a partner / friend to share your accommodation.

What type of room is provided?
ALTM will provide a standard room for all VIP Buyers. We can provide you with an upgrade at your own expense. Please let us know if you require an upgrade.

Which hotel will I be staying at?
ALTM will confirm your hotel accommodation by email. ALTM allocates hotels on a rotational basis - i.e. if you attended ALTM last year, we will try and allocate a different hotel to the one you stayed in previously.

When do you provide transfers?
Transfer information is available at www.altm.com.cn/accommodation .

What if I choose to cancel my attendance to the show?
Please inform us as soon as possible if you need to cancel. Please note that you will incur a cancellation charge.

When will I receive my badge?
If you are VIP Buyer, you will be able to collect your badge at your hotel once you have checked in. If you are attending as an Executive Buyer (entrance and appointments only basis), you will be able to collect your badge from the registration desk.

What is the dress code for ALTM?
The dress code is business wear during the daytime.

What functions will take place during the evenings?
ALTM is the perfect place to combine business with pleasure. Starting with a Opening drinks reception following the ALTM Ultratravel Forum, the glamorous official party on the Tuesday evening and an additional netowrking funciton the Thursday Evening.
